Music has always been important to my life. In middle school I took two years of piano lessons and played percussion for one year in band. In 7th grade I had left band to join choir. In 10th grade I started preforming solos for choir judges and going to choir camps. I have now been doing choir for the last 10 years. Currently at the University of St. Thomas, I'm in Chambers Choir where I am a Bass. I also picked up playing the guitar when I was a senior in high school and love playing both my acoustic and electric.

I'm always at home when I'm with my friends and family. My family has always been very close, especially my brothers and I. We talk almost everyday and keep each other posted on what's going on in our lives and even play online card or board games together. For my friends, they are my family away from family. My friends and I love being spontaneous and doing different activities whether it be outdoors or indoors. Some of my favorite memories have been downhill skiing, cruising on the lake for a day, and going to concerts.

Another passion of mine is cooking. While growing up my dad was usually the cook of the family, but during high school, I started to enjoy and appreciate it more. The most rewarding part about cooking is witnessing your skills progress over time. Often, I find myself celebrating most occasions by cooking myself a new recipe I've been wanting to try, but I also love cooking for a crowd of friends. Though it can still be challenging sometimes, I find cooking to be both relaxing and rewarding.
